Perflex extended-cycle diatomaceous earth (DE) filters provide superior water clarity and extended filter cleaning cycles without requiring backwashing.
- Clean pools fast, removing particles as small as two microns the first time through
- Patented Flex-Tube design gives longer cycles between cleaning because the same D.E. filter powder is used over and over
- Unique bump mechanism allows DE flex tubes to instantly and uniformly clean themselves of dirt and DE filter media

The Hayward Perflex Above-Ground Pool Filter System is designed to pair effortlessly with an above-ground pump to maximize filtration and deliver clearer water than ever before. This advanced filtration system is designed to operate with less resistance than conventional units, producing more filtered water with less pump horsepower. Includes an EC40AC filter with clamp, a 1 HP PowerFlo Matrix Pump, a modular platform base, a union connection and a 1 1⁄2″ hose package.
